Baseball: Granite Hills 4, San Marcos 4

SAN MARCOS(KUSI)- Spring break baseball at the yard on Tuesday afternoon in the North County with this one ending in a 4-4 tie. San Marcos was leading 4-0 heading to the top of the 6th paced by junior hurler southpaw Isaac Esquer was dealing, he went 5 1/3 with 11 strikeouts before giving way to Tyson Connelly. Granite Hill got a four spot in the top of the 6th. Down 4-1, Jody Macias ripped a two run single to left. That cut it to 4-3. Then with the bases loaded Trevor Smith, Washington State commit drew a bases loaded walk to tie it at 4.

Heading to the top of the 7th Granite Hills could not push a run across, bottom of the 7th the Knights had 2nd and 3rd with two outs but did not score. The game was called due to darkness.
